Back to School-Simon says Stamp

Hi Friends, I thought I'd share my card today even tho it's not my best work. I just have to play in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for the possibility of winning $50.00 at the SSS store. That's just too good to pass up.

I don't even have anyone I know going back to school except my teacher Daughter and her husband. Maybe I'll send it to them.  I do love to play with Lawn Fawn Stamps tho! My glossy accents was a epic fail! It had bubbles in it and also when it was drying the tip of the crayon curled up and cracked a little. ha ha ha, oh well.
The paper is an old line of DCWV, I think, I've had it forever.

Kraftin Kimmie August Sketch, WW

HEY Friends, I'm here today with a Birthday card for one of my tennis-loving friends. I pulled out my Kraftin Kimmie set "Good Sports" for this. I hope Gerry likes it. I colored the image so long ago that I had to blow dust off of it! It was patiently waiting for me to finish.

I had fun putting it together with the Kraftin Kimmie August Sketch. I used a MFT sentiment for the front but I used a KK sentiment on the inside that says "talk to the backhand!"

MM 410

Hey Friends, I'm sharing a summer card today with a bunch of different elements. The cute beach-y lady is, of course, Art Impression, but in conjunction with Hampton Arts for Michael's.

I'm very disappointed with the quality of this set. It's plastic or something, not photo polymer. Doesn't stamp well at all! But I made her look pretty good by tracing over many of the lines with a Copic multiliner.

My photo is dark because I didn't have access to my regular photo editing software yesterday.

The paper and stickers are from the Simon Says Stamp July card kit which features Simple Stories paper. The sentiment is the SSS stamp set from the same kit. I used Mojo Monday Sketch 410.
I am sooooo not ready to make fall cards. Summer is NOT over! LOL!

Sketch Saturday 373

Hi Friends, Today I'm sharing a card for Sketch Saturday challenge and a few others. I used this cute set from Simon Says Stamps/Clearly Besotted called Winter Friends. How cute is this Santa? I love him! I wish I could tell you what paper line this is but I used scraps so I don't remember.

Merry monday 168

Hey friends, I'm here with a pastel Christmas card today made for the Merry Monday challenge. I was in between part one and part 2 of my vacation yesterday and was dying to make a card and play with Distress Inks!
So I got out my water color paper, inks and SU stamp set. Name unknown. I heat embossed the simon  says sentiment with liquid platinum. I stamped the pointsettia with spun sugar on copic paper and highlighted it with copies.
This post took me HOURS to compose. I did it entirely on my new iPad because I'm not home now. And I did not know how to do it. I figured each part out under much diress. Yikes, what a pain😊

Excuse the crappy photo and anything I may have left out. The words are wonderfully shiny!
