Happy Easter

Hi Peeps! Happy Easter! I'm sharing a couple cards I made my daughters for Easter. I pulled out my retired There She Goes "Buckets of Love" stamp set for this. I colored the bucket and eggs with Copics. Then I made is into a shaker card by using a retired Flourishes die, some acetate packaging, foam tape and sequins. A SB fancy tag diecut was used for the sentiment which I sponged with chalk ink first. I used a Cuttlebug EF called birds and vines, or something like that! lol.

I made two, one for each of my girls.

Mojo Monday 341

Hi Friends, How's your week going? I was lucky to be off from work today and got to play with paper. :)
I'm playing with the Mojo Monday Sketch 341 and an Inky Antics Bunny stamp that my friend Tammy lent me. Sunday was our local card club meeting where I stamped the bunny (name unknown) and I colored with Copics.
I cut Mr. Bunny out with some square Spellbinder dies and popped him up as the focal point of the card. I put the circle element behind the square because the image was a little too big to do it the other way. I used Echo Park Walk in the Park paper. The sentiment is from There She Goes "buckets of love" stamp set. The paper did all the work on this one, just a twine bow and a few gems finish it off. Oh, the banners were cut with MFT fishtail banner dies. Other links below.

The Card Concept

Hi Friends! Today I'm playing in a few challenges. I was lucky enough to get some craft time last weekend. I also cleaned my craft room and it feels great! Let's see how long my commitment to put things away after using them will last!
I ordered myself some of this gorgeous peacock colored paper from SU. It might be called Island Oasis but not sure. I wanted to use it and thought it would match the teal/turquoise blue in the photo inspiration from the Card Concept #7. I also choose to use orange from the photo. I settled on this MFT butterfly from Winged Beauties and used the matching die to cut it out. I wish you could see the gold sparkle from the sequins, twine and embossing powder. My camera didn't capture it. I used SU's Gorgeous Grunge and Momento inks to stamp the background. This kind of stamp is truly out of my comfort zone but I like it.
I used Copics to color the butterfly and as you can see, I followed Sweet Sunday Sketch #214. The sentiment is MFT's too.
Thanks for stopping by today! See links below.

Curtain Call and Deconstructed Sketch

Hi Bloggers, Are you enjoying nice weather? I am. It's a nice spring day today.  I made a card for a few challenges yesterday. I combined the adorable Baby Booties Challenge from the Curtain Call April 1 with this week's Deconstructed Sketch 145.
Why, oh, why have I not inked up this adorable Waltzingmouse Nortic Baby stamp set until now? I had to have it and now I know why. It's great! When I saw the Curtain Call challenge, I thought of these knitted baby shoes. I heat embossed them on kraft with white EP and cut them out. From the same set, I used the sentiment stamps with Tux. Blk. ink and a sponged circle die cut. I used a Cuttlebug EF for the background. Graphic 45 paper, PTI twill ribbon, pearls and a button was also used. The sponging was done with Momento Summer Sky on ivory PTI Card stock.

Wish I had a pair of these booties for my Grandson!

Some other challenges:
Stamping Sensations-Dies and punches -I used circle dies, banner and scalloped border punch.
Alphabet Challenge -D is for Diecut
Just Add Ink -Add layers
