TT158-Saturated Canary Birthday

Hi all. I'm back with another Tuesday Throwdown challenge #158 for Team A. We are being sponsored by Saturated Canary this week. They have some adorable stamps for birthdays and other themes. My image is called "Elle's Birthday". So cute! The theme for the Tuesday Throwdown this week is Birthday Party! Make a birthday card and join us.
I used the current Mojo Monday sketch 304 and MME Hootnanny paper pad.
Other than following the sketch, the rest is pretty self explanatory.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday 230- Christmas Challenge

Hi Friends, Finally I get to play in a Flourishes Challenge! I haven't been well for many weeks. I had a bout of Diverticulitis, NOT FUN!!!
I'm thrilled with my card! I think my mojo took a vacation recently. But I finally made a card I'm happy with. The reds on this card are not so orange IRL. I used Aspen Frost by Basic Grey 6x6.

Flourishes challenge-Christmas with a twist this week is to make a Christmas card BUT it has to be mostly flat for mailing. No lumpy bows or buttons. I was dying to put a button on this but settled on some sequins. Another card making trend that I'm trying to catch onto. They do make cute flat embellishments and add a little sparkle.
I used the "Paperwhites" set and colored the Paperwhites flowers to look like a Christmas Amarylis instead. You've seen these red and white ones right?
And the Fabulous sketch? Sweet Sunday Sketch 189 by Karen Giron. Love it!!!

TT156 "Oh Crab, I forgot your birthday!"

Hi Friends, Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown 156 sponsored by My Grafico. This week's challenge theme is "Anything Goes" so please share your cards with us!
We were all given sea creatures to work with and I chose this cute crab! I printed him on red paper and cut him out. I used this week's Deconstructed Sketch 109. The cute paper is Fancy Pants. I used a Fiskars Rope Punch, Some circle spellbinders, Tiny Bubbles embossing folders, Doodlebug twine and a Basic Grey Button.

Tuesday Throwdown 154

Hi Everyone, how's your holiday week going so far? I only have to work 2 days then it's Vacation time for me! Well, let's get to the Tuesday Throwdown 154, shall we? This week's challenge is Stars and Stripes and our fabulous sponsor is Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps. I chose this cool baseball image to make a masculine birthday card. If you look closely you'll see the Star Embossing Folder I used. I kept it simple because men don't like fussy, of course.
I added a Verve sentiment, Fancy Pants Striped Paper, a punched border, and some paper and gem stars.

 Hi Friends, How are you this summer Sunday morning? I'm here to show you Mom's Birthday card that I made yesterday following the fabby Deconstructed Sketch 107 and the C4C192 Hexagon challenge.
I love how feminine and pretty this turned out. I did lots of layering, stitching and yummy color choices.
The paper is MME, Spellbinder fancy oval die cut, PTI tag and stamp set, and Recollections (prima) paper rose. Links to challenges below. :)

Forever begins now-Cara's Engagement

Hi all, I have been meaning to post this card that I made to congratulate my daughter and her fiance on their engagement. Do you recognize this "altered" A Day for Daisy image called "Forever Begins Now? I asked the artist Tammy Thompson to draw the image without hair on the groom especially for me, AND she did!!!

If you look closely, you'll see my daughter's freckles colored with my copics. Don't ask about the layout of the card, it was a rush job! (eye rolling over here!) I didn't even  photographic it properly, because in all the excitement, I forgot :) oh well. 

I used MME paper, a fancy oval spellbinder die, a banner die, ribbon and pearls.
