Hi there bloggers! I wanted to play with a stamp I bought last year and never used so this card was born. I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 180 and a new My Minds Eye paper pad Collectable-Notable.
The stamp is Penny Black called "Party Animals". I'm thinking this would make a cute card for my co-workers birthday. I could write from all of us inside!
The sentiment stamp is Verve.

AR Creations Goodie Box

Hi Friends, are you getting ready for Easter or are you already celebrating Passover? My family celebrates both. The Tuesday Throwdown challenge this week is "what's in your basket?" which means make a 3-D project. Creations by AR is sponsoring us this week and they have lots of cute templates to make a 3-D project.
I made this cute little box called "Goody Box" which would be cute to put on your holiday table. I photographed my sample on a china plate and filled it with egg candy.



I used a pink double-sided card stock for the base of the box and a piece of DCWV (Nana's nursery)patterned paper for the lining of the box. The templates come in several formats. I used the PDF format and cut it out with scissors and inked the edges. I added a twine bow,WOC cherry blossom and a die cut banner to embellish. The sentiment stamp is Flourishes.

Birthday Card

 Hi Friends, I got to my craft room the other day. My ankle is getting better everyday. I was really missing playing with paper AND I needed a birthday card.
I combined the Crazy for Challenges sketch this week with the Color Throwdown palette for a simple but pretty card. The stamps are Verve for the Cake and the Happy Birthday sentiment. The tag and wish stamp are Papertrey Ink. No sewing this time, my machine has a foot pedal witch doesn't work with an air cast!! LOL. Paper is Basic Grey Konichiwa.

I have a question for you? What do you do to tame bakers twine that has kinks in it from packaging?
Do you just leave it as is? or do you control it somehow? (my bow has gone haywire!) Thanks. Links below.

I fractured my ankle!!!! WHAT?!! Yes, unfortunately, after a 25 year hiatus I went snowmobiling for the weekend in Vermont. The snowmobile tipped over, my ankle twisted and pinned my ankle momentarily. So, a trip to the emergency room in an ambulance then an overnight stay in a hotel is how I spent my Saturday night.
That's me in the red coat. I feel like a airplane pilot with this helmet on!
My hubby is going to bring some of my stuff up from my basement craft room so I can make a card or 2 I hope.
