Hi Friends, how are you this fine Election Day? I'm doing better. I have a card to share that was inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch 243 except I changed out the circle for an oval and rounded the corners.
I'm also playing in a challenge for my monthly Local Card Club. We were given a 12x12" piece of this retired Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas paper (Once upon a Christmas line) and asked to make a card with it. One side is a cream damask and the other side, a large scale text print. I love it! And because I have to beef up my card stash I made 3 cards. I used just about every inch of the one piece of paper.
The red paper on my card is looking a little wonky, I might have corrected the color too much in the editing process!
I'll be entering these in some other challenges as well:

ReplyDeleteI like your Christmas card. Thanks for sharing it with us at Sentimental Sundays. Maja DT
ReplyDeleteLong about the time I think I want to make something besides a Christmas card, I see something like this and I'm all inspired again. Good job using up that sheet of paper. Sometimes a single 12 x 12 sheet will hang around my stamp room for years, using little bits at a time. Your cards are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely creation with us at Creative Card Crew.

It totally doesn't matter but the paper is Dark Green, not black! LOL
