Hey friends, welcome to week 37 at Inspired by all the little things challenge! It's the last challenge of the year. We'll be back in January.
Weeks ago I had borrowed my friends Stampin Up house stamp set and heat embossed the houses in white powder on kraft. I die cut a circle to make a snow globe. The bottom part is half of a die cut label, which I stamped with a Simon Says Stamp sentiment.
I realize my paper choices aren't the best. I had this card mostly done and had a mishap and had to start over with different papers.
Our guest is Natalie Murdock this week and the rest of the team have some super cards to share.
Come play with us!
Thanks for visiting.
Kim
Kim, this gingerbread house is such a perfect focal point! Love all your festive papers, too! Hey, just had to tell you that I'm using a Canon Powershot for my photographs as well! Kindred spirits! I've been eyeing SLR cameras but haven't bit the bullet yet and figure why give up quick and simple and what I think works well! Hope you have a merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI was so tempted by this SU set. Love what you did with it, using it in the snow globe. Totally brilliant way to make a snow globe, too! I would never have thought you didn't use a snow globe die. Sheesh! BTW, your papers look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is wonderful, Kim!! Great 3D snowglobe - and I think your papers work perfectly. Thanks for being such a wonderful design team member this year!
ReplyDeleteA frosty home scene in a snowglobe. Too sweet. I can just hear the Christmas music playing in the houses. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love your take on the inspiration photo, Kim! Merry Christmas!
