Welcome Little Miss Croghan

Hi All and Hi Lesley! Welcome to the surprise Virtual Baby Shower for Baby Girl Croghan! Some of Lesley's wonderful friends put together a blog hop for her. Since she's the creator of the "Inspired by all the little things" design team I'm on, I wanted to join in the fun.

I pull out a retired stamp set illustrated by the super talented Marcella Hawley. I love Copic coloring this image especially when I can match it to some sweet patterned paper. It's K&Co. and I'm sure it's also no longer available. I used an embossing folder, a punch and a button and twine to embellish.
I sent it in a glassine bag with a tiny clothespin to close it up.

There are many participants in the event so come join the hop and see everyone's cards here

Lesley, I wish you and your husband all the best!
Hugs, Kim

Inspired by all the little things #49

Hey there, It's time for Inspired by all the little things #49! For the bunny in the inspiration photo, I pulled out Reverse Confetti Hippity Hoppity set.

I stamped the images on PTI Rustic Cream card stock (has textured flecks in it) to mimic the pillow background and colored with Prisma Pencils. I fussy cut them out and set them on a SSS tag. I set the tag on a grey card base covered with spring-y paper and added grey enamel dots.

Come on over and join the fun!

Inspired by all the little things #48

Hey Friends, Welcome to Inspired by all the little things challenge # 48. Glad you stopped by.

This week we have a pretty sky photo inspiration that you can interpret however you'd like. I chose to do a galaxy background with sponged Distress Ink.

After watching a few You Tube videos I gave it a try. I used some yellows and purples and finished the edges in Chipped Sapphire.

Then I splatted with water and with Copic White. Some vellum clouds were cut with Lawn Fawn Clouds border dies and I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Believe Stamp.

Leanne Elliott is our guest this week. I hope you join the design team and I by making a card for yourself!

Inspired by all the little things #47

Hi Friends, I'm here to share this week's Inspired by all the little things Challenge #47! We have an interesting rainbow photo with a musical flair if you choose to be inspired by that. I pulled out my Tweet, Tweet stamp set by Avery Elle.

It gave me the opportunity to use lots of colors and had some cute little music notes as well. The sentiment on the inside says "a little birdie told me it was your birthday". Too cute!

I colored the birds and tiki-style umbrella with Copics and cut out with the matching dies. A hill was created by sponging some Twisted Citron ink with a curved mask. I then set the panel on a black card base and added twine. I added glossy accents to the birdie's eyes!

Come visit the blog, say hello to our guest, Michelle Lupton and join in the fun.
Hugs, Kim

Inspired by all the little things 46

Hey Friends, It's time for Inspired by all the little Things Challenge 46! I used Hero Arts "Stamp your own succulents" set for my terrarium. I stamped and water colored my plants first, waited until fully dry and gold heat embossed the planter over it.

Using Freshly Made Sketches 277, I assembled my card using patterned paper, water color paper, card stock and enamel dots. I felt the clean and simple layout reinforced the "I miss you" sentiment, which is from another Hero Arts set, Year round sentiments. After I was done, I realized I could have made some splatters for interest but it was too late!

Lindsey Larsen is our guest this week. Come on over and visit the challenge blog and join us!
