I added stickles, which didn't photograph well and made a little bit of the ink run, which I covered up with the cute little punched flower!
I used this weeks sketch challenge over at The Sweet Stop. I didn't add one panel and changed the oval to a square to aaccommodate the cake image. A nice embossing folder was used on the background and a bow , twine and tiny tag finished it off. Yes, I know the text is upside down!!! Darn it!!!
Thanks for visiting today! Kim
What a super card Kim I think its fabulous, great embossing and a fab image well done Hugs Elaine
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Kim. Love that cake, the papers... the dry embossing looks great. The tiny flower and tag are perfect. Thank you for playing along with us at The Sweet Stop this week.

Gracious Kim, your daughter is a natural! She should be selling digital images. You've put it together so wonderfully, too!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card! Thanks for playing along with us this week at The Sweet Stop!
ReplyDeleteWOW! You should get her to draw more often. That cake look s fabulous Kim. I discovered that Stickles doesn't like ink very well too. It makes some of my Copic colors run, especially red. Would have to be the hardest one to fix huh? LOL Beautiful job on the anniversary card sweetie. Hugs and happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention she's an High School Art Teacher! so yes, she draws well!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super, fun card, Kim! Really love the paper-piecing of your cake, and that embossing folder is outrageous! LOVE!
