Penguin card



Hey Bloggers, Say hello to my little friend , hehe, (Scarface reference!) The cute penguin is from Cute Christmas Characters from Clearly Besotted/Simon Says Stamp. Another NBUS item that I didn't get to during the holidays. But this is a winter card (or Xmas if I don't send it to someone soon). I bought the dies too which sure does make it quick and easy to use. 

 I use 2 different paper pads to complete this. The fabby snowy bokeh paper is Bo Bunny-Altitude and the stripe and bow paper is Pink Paislee. I used Sweet Sunday Sketch #250. Some other items used are Lil Inkers stitched rectangles, Lawn Fawn stitched hillside borders, MFT banner die, CTMH black twine, Copics, foam tape. 
You may have noticed that the colors are from Color Throwdown 324. Red/White/Black. That is what inspired me to choose these colors.

    Oh, my word, so cute! Makes me smile! I love that bokeh paper and, of course, the darling penguin. Well, love the red papers, too, and the snowy hills and the cute sketch which is perfect for a colored image. I guess I just love it all!

    Oh, I love how you used that bokeh paper with the red, Kim! It makes the perfect backdrop for the adorable penguin. Fabulous take on the sketch!
