Inspired by all the little Things #41

Hola, Peeps. I'm here sharing my card for the Inspired by all the little Things Challenge 41. Take a look at this inspiration photo! So open to all kinds of interpretation.

I chose to go whimsical and cute on this one and pulled out my Lawn Fawn Hedgehugs stamp and die. I used kraft card stock embossed with a heart embossing folder to mimic the twine.

Some other Lawn Fawn products are the red patterned paper, the white heat embossed sentiment on black card stock and the Lawn Trimmings Gold twine.

Color Throwdown 427

Hey Friends, I love the colors in the Color Throwdown Challenge this week so I had to play. I could have made a baby card but I need to beef up my birthday card stash. I used Lawn Fawn Year Six stamp, colored with Copics and fussy cut out. I used matching distress ink to stamp the hearts.

I added a little pearl to play in the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge 391 AND it's just too cute to put a pearl in an oyster. (I guess it's an oyster?) Wplus9 Sunshine Layer dies were used for the mats, plus I added in an extra one which I trimmed on my trimmer and rounded the corners.

Below is the first card I made for the challenge but although I like it, It wasn't what I had in mind for the challenge. I call it the "old way" of my card making, and the card with the shells is a more modern way.(?) At first I wasn't going to share it but then I decided that there's nothing wrong with this style card, just different. P.S. I used Mojo Monday Sketch 481.

Inspired by all the little Things 40

Hi Friends, Time for another fabulous inspiration from Inspired by all the little Things

I was a little stumped at first but I'm happy with my card. I started out being inspired by the white flower which I made come to life with a Simon Says Stamp set named Ranunculus.  I used the berry-like branches to imitate the photo and used this lilac/pink shade of card stock for the background. I used Distress ink for the background, Milled Lavender.

A Hero Arts sentiment embossed on vellum and some sparkling clear sequins finish it off.

Our guest, Donna Rudy and the design team have some great cards to share with you so stop on by!

Simon says -Winter Birthday!

Hey Friends, I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I didn't end up using this Lawn Fawn stamp set much at Christmas time but it's perfect for the newest Simon Says Stamp Wed. Challenge-Winter Birthday. I have a little girl in mind to give this to.

Anyway, I used SSS birch tree window die for the first time, so cute! I also got the snowflake sequins and Hero Arts purple/teal ombre ink pad from SSS.

I colored the fairies with Copics and added crystal stickles to their wings. The panel behind the die cut is sponged with Tumbled Glass distress ink. It's a shaker card too.

Well, short and sweet. Time for hubby and I to go to a movie! See ya later!

Inspired by all the little things 39

Hey Friends, how are you this fine day? How about a little Valentine inspiration this week?
Inspired by all the little things 39 has a fun photo to inspire you.

I knew I wanted to have a black and white panel on my card and the rest just evolved with the help of a Mojo Monday sketch #475. I used some Lawn Fawn patterned paper for the background and a unknown manuf. scrap for the banner. The hearts are die cut with spellbinder dies. I got the ribbon from Verve and the twine is Darice.

Since I used this MFT sentiment, I guess this is my husband's card because it doesn't apply to anyone else!

I hope you come play with us this week. Our guest is Hannelie Bester!

Inspired by all the little Things #38

Hi Friends! It's a brand new year and time to get back to card challenges!

We sure would like to see you join us at Inspired by all the little Things #38 this week.  It's such a pretty inspiration photo.

I pulled out a retired stamp set but you can find something similar drawn by Marcella Hawley at Power Poppy Stamps. I colored the image with Copics and cut it out with a MFT stitched circle die. I used an older Sweet Sunday Sketch, found on Pinterest to assemble the card.

The sentiment is Hero Arts which I heat embossed in detail gold EP along with the edges of the gold mat under the white. A dotted ribbon and enamel hearts finish it off.

Our guest this week is Broni Holcomb!  Please take a peek over at the blog to see what the design team has shared.
