The Card Concept 106

Hi Friends! We back from our break and ready to play at The Card Concept 106! I super love this inspiration photo! I did deviate a bit from the pinks in the flowers, not intentional but oh well, it's ok.

I like the black and white accents on the photo so I found some patterned papers that were close. They are much more black in real life but I over-lightened my photo and blacks got washed out a bit.

I stamped a stamp from Newton's Nook, Cocktail Mixer, colored with Copics and die cut it out with a stitched circle. I bundled up a nest of gold thread to put under the die cut and added some gold sequins and a gold clip.
The inside stamp from the same set says "why limit happy to an hour?" So funny!

There are some gorgeous cards from the design team over at The Card Concept Blog so please check them out!
Until next time, Kim

  1. You have really done a great job capturing your inspiration photo Kim! You have a touch of gold, black and mimicked the slender candles with your pink paper perfectly (even if that wasn't intentional. ) So happy you linked up this beauty at Seize the Birthday too! Have a wonderful day!
