Hi Friends, How are you? I'm sharing my Inspired by all the little Things #14 challenge card. I love baby cards, how about you? My company's accountant just had a baby boy and my daughter's friend is about to have a baby, boy or girl we don't know, so this will come in handy!
I just love this little airplane image which is Retired Flourishes. (if you like Marcella Hawley's
illustrations, visit Power Poppy here).
The sentiment stamp set is called Baby by Simon Says Stamp and the cloud embossing folder is Darice. I sponged the clouds with Momento Summer Sky dye ink and cut the circle with my favorite circle dies, MFT Stitched Circles. The sequins are Doodlebug, twine is from The Twinery.
I had to do this card over twice and I had to sponge the cloud circle FIVE times to get them right. Haha.
I used The Challenge #71 Sketch and will link up that and a few other challenges. Thanks for visiting today! To all the Moms out there, whether you live in the US or not, have a great Sunday, my friends. :)

ReplyDeleteLovely! Love the colors and the layers of your card!
ReplyDeleteSo cute for a baby boy! I love this! Those cupcakes in the inspiration photo are adorable. Your sponged clouds ultimately turned out great, and the embossed clouds make a fabulous background for the whole design. I don't remember this Flourishes stamp set at all.
ReplyDeleteThis is simply darling, Kim! Thanks so much for joining us at The Challenge!
ReplyDeleteOh, Kim, this is perfectly precious! LOVE your red and blue palette, and that cloud folder is perfect for your sweet, little, airplane scene! Love this to bits and pieces! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Challenge!
ReplyDeleteToot sweet Kim!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I have tried this cloud technique before also, and it took me a few tries, and even then I wasn't completely happy. Yours look brilliant!
