The Card Concept 94-Inspiration on Wheels

Hi Friends! I'm designing for The Card Concept now, Yippie!!! The Inspired by all the little things challenge is on a hiatus for an undetermined amount of time so Lesley invited me to join this challenge. I'm thrilled to not have to skip a beat and can keep using my creativity and "crafty goodies"!

I was inspired by the red bicycle and yellow/purple flowers to create a Clean and Layered card.

I pulled out my Simon Says Stamp "Life is a beautiful ride" set and copic-colored some of the images. I sponged a background with distress inks and added some Avery Elle cloud die cuts. I finished it with a tiny twine bow.

There's a few more challenges until the we go on Summer break, come share a card with us!

AAA Nature

Hey Friends, sorry for the fuzzy photo. Today I'm linking up to AAA Cards -Inspired by nature challenge. I had started this card a week prior for a challenge that I can't even remember.

A week later I saw the AAA challenge and decided to finish it. I stamped a retired Flourishes set in several green inks. I then splattered gold and black ink on the panel. I pulled out a SU wood mounted stamp, name unknown, and heat embossed with gold powder on vellum. I added a gold twine bow and enamel dots and called it done.

I'm happy to have this sympathy card for my stash now.
Thanks for visiting!

Seize the birthday and Simon Says Stamp Wed. Challenge

Hi Friends, I needed another birthday card for this month so I am joining   Seize the birthday "Its-just-number" challenge. We are to use numbers on our cards or something referring to numbers.

You'll have to look close at my dry-embossed patterned paper to see some numbers. I pulled out the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Farm Animals set and Copic-colored the chicken.

I set him on a cloud stenciled circle die cut (MFT). I'll add this card to the SSS Wednesday Challenge -Stencil It.

For the inside I used a Memory Box (I think?) stencil to add some interest to the inside.
Have a great day!

Inspired by all the little things 86

Hi Friends, It's time for another Inspired by all the little things challenge! We have some lovely stained glass feathers in the photo. You don't have to use feathers, though. Be inspired what ever way you'd like.

I had to find a way to add interest to my Simon Says Stamp feather die. I did so by water coloring some distress inks on Bristol paper. I made sure to put different colors next to each other to get multiple colors together. I die cut the feathers after I had let the paper dry and after I splattered with water and white paint.

I decided to make this my husband's Father's Day card, even tho it's not the most masculine colors. I used an Inky Antics stamp set for the sentiment (white heat embossed) and on the inside I stamp Happy Father's Day also.

Our guest this month is Erica A-B. The design team has some beautiful samples to check out so come on by!

Inspired by all the little things 85

Hey friends, it's time for Inspired by all the little things #85. The photo inspiration is gorgeous! Wish I could see those gorgeous flowers in person.

I started out by stamping the florals from Hero Arts Petal Power with Momento inks. The images were flat so I gave them some definition with my copic markers and added some black Nuvo drops.

I fussy cut them all out including the leaves. I found some Echo Park wood grain paper in an Echo Park I love Fall paper pad. It didn't have the worn look but it had the wood feel. I cut it on a diagonal and tucked the flowers, leaves and a half-doily under it.

The lower half is lifted with foam tape. I stamped the sentiments from a Whimsy Stamps set and added a gingham bow.

Our Guest this week is Erica A-B. Come join us with a card!
