Inspired by all the little Things #14

Hi Friends, How are you? I'm sharing my Inspired by all the little Things #14 challenge card. I love baby cards, how about you? My company's accountant just had a baby boy and my daughter's friend is about to have a baby, boy or girl we don't know, so this will come in handy!

I just love this little airplane image which is Retired Flourishes. (if you like Marcella Hawley's

 illustrations, visit Power Poppy here).

The sentiment stamp set is called Baby by Simon Says Stamp and the cloud embossing folder is Darice. I sponged the clouds with Momento Summer Sky dye ink and cut the circle with my favorite circle dies, MFT Stitched Circles. The sequins are Doodlebug, twine is from The Twinery.

I had to do this card over twice and I had to sponge the cloud circle FIVE times to get them right. Haha.

I used The Challenge #71 Sketch and will link up that and a few other challenges. Thanks for visiting today!

To all the Moms out there, whether you live in the US or not, have a great Sunday, my friends. :)

Inspired by all the little Things #13

Hey Friends, Today I'm sharing a Graduation card for a special someone using the challenge graphic #13 for Inspired by all the little Things! I sure am having fun being on the design team.

I decided to go with patterned papers instead of a more trendy water color card. I wanted those Copic colored MFT butterflies to pop so I kept it mostly black and white using Pebbles-DIY Home paper.

I used a MFT stitched circle die to showcase the inspiring sentiment from the same butterfly set. It must be retired because I couldn't find it in the MFT store. The Sparkling clear PPP sequins made another appearance. They just make every card prettier. I heart them!

Come play with us at Inspired by all the little Things this week, won't you?

Inspired By All The Little Things #12

Hey Friends, Today I'm sharing a card with you for the Inspired By All The Little Things #12 Challenge. From the inspiration photo I took the shape and color of the blooms, and the fact that the came from the left side.

I mixed Milled Lavender and Spun Sugar Distress inks to get the color and then was delighted to find a piece of matching card stock! I didn't plan it but I love when that happens!

Of course first I heat embossed the pretty flowers on Ranger Water Color Paper. After the painting was done, I heat embossed Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder for the sentiment. This photo does not capture the gorgeous-ness of that color.

Oh how I fussed around with what to do in that top left corner. After pulling out every option of embellishments I had, I settled on a simple twine bow. A few of Lucy's Cards luscious iridescent sequins finish it off.

Color Throwdown 388

Hi Friends, When I saw this week's Color Throwdown, I was giddy to play with my Taylored Expression Bloomin Boots Stamp set! You can't tell from the photo but after I stamped the yellow boots I clear embossed them to make them shine.

The Sugar Sketch Challenge 49 gave me a great place to showcase boots and cute matching sentiment. I copic colored the flowers then fussy cut them and the boots out and layered them, popping up one of them with foam tape.

Some other items used were a Cuttlebug Argyle EF, Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped border die, MFT Stitched Circle die, some gingham ribbon and a brad.
One more birthday card for my stash with many more to go!

Inspired By All The Little Things #11

Hi Friends, I've got a cute birthday card to share with you today for the Inspired By All The Little Things #11 Challenge.

After debating on which patterned paper to use, I decided to go with Paris Girl by Carta Bella that I hadn't used much. Then my new to me stamp set Cupcakes by Avery Elle came in the mail just in time for this card! I've had this set on my wish list for a long time.

I didn't want to make a black cupcake but needed some high contrast for interest so I went with it. The card stock base is dark gray from Simon Says Stamp. For a nod to the tulle I went with sheer pink ribbon and for the tiara, I added a gem flower. ( I used much restraint because I was trying to use a big gem flourish but it would have overtaken the whole card!!!) Less is more!

I may have strayed a bit far from the inspiration pic but I am happy with the results overall.

Let's see what you come up with.

Ta-Ta for now. :)

Inspired By All The Little things #10

Hi Friends, For Challenge #10 at Inspired By All the Little Things I chose this cute bowl of cherries and puny greeting from Stampin Up's Giggle Greetings to cheer up my Niece who had surgery on her ankle. Surgery sure does make life the pits for a short while!

Although I have strawberry and blueberry stamps I was inspired by the bowl of fruit. My cherries are embellished with a liberal coating of Glossy Accents. The navy PP is from Echo Park So Lovely 6x6. I used a Lil Inkers Stitched Req. die and Doodlebug sequins to complete this clean and simple design. It was just right for popping in the mail.

How does the Inspiration Photo below inspire you?

Inspired By All The Little Things #9

Hi Friends, the time has come for me to share my first Inspired By All the Little Things Design Team card. Yippee! I made an anniversary or wedding card for my stash.

I tried, I really tried to do a water color card like the inspiration but Mr. Mojo just wasn't having it so after many tries I switched gears. I still used the colors and flowers but stuck with ink this time.

I stamped the leaves and flowers from Avery Elle Laurels set with various Momento inks. Then I set them all on a Mojo Monday Sketch 440 white card stock background cut with Lil Inkers and MFT stitched dies.  The gold heat embossed sentiment is from the same set. Some pretty polka-dotted sheer ribbon of unknown origin and some delightful gold sequins finish it off.

Please visit this new-ish challenge blog and play with us!

Thanks for visiting.
