Craftin by Designs Guest
Hi Friends, Today I'm guest designing for Crafting by Designs. I won the opportunity a few weeks ago and I happily said yes!!! The Challenge is Halloween! Won't you come play along?
The challenge is wide open to any Halloween themed project so I decided to make treat boxes. I wanted to give the little girls at my Grandson's daycare a little something sweet so I set about making these. Why are they pink and not purple? Because I wanted to use only what I had on hand ( and the little Girlies won't care!) I don't keep a large stash of 12 x 12 paper.
I dusted off my Cricut Expression and the cartridge "Tags, Bags, Boxes and More" to cut the little boxes. They went together in a snap. Cut at 5" or so, I got 2 cuts from each 12 x 12 paper. I inked all the edges to hid the white core of the paper.
I used my new MFT Which way to the candy stamp set for the cute kitty and colored them with Copics and die cut them out. I used punches for the moon (2" circle), MS bats and MS fence. Inside I tucked animal crackers inside small clear treat bags and tied them up with bakers twine,
(background paper-K&Co.)
Thanks again, Craftin by Designs! Kim
