Power Poppy, SSS241

Hi Friends, I have another non traditional colored Christmas card to share today. I'm using my new Power Poppy Frosted Gingerbread stamp set. I will enter into the Peep of the Week Challenge at Power Poppy.

I'm a sucker for Gingerbread Houses. I used to make them with my kids and with my daughter's girl scout troop! I plan to use this stamp set with many different colors and techniques. I love it.
I turn the sketch on its side and used MFT's icicle die for the flag element. Reminds me of drippy icing! I cut the blue paper incorrectly so my card is a little bit different from the sketch.

I believe the paper pad is MME. Some other details are: Stitched circle die-MFT, Ink-Momento TB, Teal Zeal, Rich Cocoa, Pink, Copics, Stickles-crystal, Sequins-Studio Calico.

A shot of the stickles.

  1. I just love how you decorated this gingerbread house, Kim! It looks positively delicious! Cute with the sketch and the icicles, and I really love the stripey paper. Very festive! I've made gingerbread men, but never a gingerbread house. It seems like it would be especially fun as a group effort.

  2. Gorgeous, sweet card and love the Gingerbread house image.

  3. Absolutely a-dor-a-ble!!! Love all that frosty pink, especially with the blue! You've made this card irresistibly fun, Kim. Thank you so much for joining us over at Power Poppy! :) ~m

  4. You did an amazing job with that gingerbread house and I'm lovin' the paper colors. Cool icicles too. :-)

  5. Absolutely charming and so beautifully colored Kim! WOW! Love your snow and the colors you used! That paper is super sweet too!

  6. Absolute perfection! It's the reason why your creation was chosen for this week's PEEP OF THE WEEK over at Power Poppy! Congrats! :-)
