Hey Friends, today I'm entering the Power Poppy Monthly challenge with 2 cards. I had purchased these digital stamps a while back with my Nephew in mind. He loves fishing and so do many other men in my family so these were perfect for them all.
In the challenge there are 3 sketches to choose from. For my first card I chose sketch 3. I colored the image with Copics and put the card together using the sketch. I added a paper clip and feather to give the illusion of a fishing fly. I mailed this to my Nephew this morning.
Since I printed my image in my printer, I may as well have printed 2 on the same page! The paper I used is X-press Blend It by Copic. The card below uses Sketch 2 from the challenge. I moved the small rectangle to better suit my card. This one uses grosgrain ribbon and enamel dots as embellishments.
Now my father-in-law's card is done for Father's Day. Yippee!
Thanks for visiting!

A twofer! Great work on these with the sketches, Kim! Perfect coloring. The feather in the first card is such a cute addition!

ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! I don't fly fish but I sure wouldn't mind catching that fellow on the bottom card. LOL Really like it's design too.
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous masculine designs Kim! Your little feather is the crowning touch on that first design! These are some of my favourite images from Marcy...go figure at flower girl loves the fishing stuff! Thanks so much for joining us at Power Poppy this month!
ReplyDeleteBoth fantastic guy cards, not to mention awesome coloring. I like the added little feather to the cap, clever idea. Thanks for playing in our Power and Spark challenge this month.
