MFT208

Hi Friends, I'm back with a card to share now that Christmas is over and I can find my way to my craft room again! I wanted to make a New Year's card so I found this week's MFT Wednesday Stamp challenge 208 to help me get it done. Most of my supplies are Simon Says Stamp products or can be ordered from there. The Happy New Year sentiment is MFT, though.

I tried the Camouflaging Die Cut technique with a lot of trouble. I believe it's meant to be done with a word die instead of individual dies like my numbers here. The main problem I had was with the glue. I'm not good with liquid adhesive, it's so hard for me not get it all over everything, even with Matte medium adhesive. Also, the pressure from the Big Shot took some of the glitter off the glitter paper. In the Papertrey Ink video, distress ink was used. I thought it may work just as well using paper for the layering of the die cut but it didn't. BUT, I took a chance and learned so that's what's important! :)
